Rogue Town is the early English rendering of Loguetown, the town where Gol D. Roger was born and executed, a place Oda built as a pun on "prologue" and "epilogue" since it marks both the beginning and end of his story. It's also where Luffy stands on the execution platform and declares he'll become the next Pirate King, a moment famously followed by a violent bolt of lightning, giving this card's "stormy" imagery real weight. This card comes from Grand Box 4, released in April 2001 as part of the vintage Carddass Hyper Battle line that ran from 1999 to 2002 and adapted the story up through the early Alabasta arc before Bandai replaced it with the modern One Piece Card Game, making it a genuine piece of the franchise's earliest card game history.
